How We Work

We keep the process clear from your first enquiry through to completion and certification.

1. Tell us what you need

Contact us with your postcode, property type and a brief description of the work. Photos can be sent by WhatsApp where helpful.

2. Receive a quotation or booking price

For standard services, such as an EICR or emergency call-out, we confirm the booking price and available times. For installation work, we provide a written quotation after reviewing the requirements.

3. Confirm your appointment

Choose a suitable date and provide the necessary contact and property-access details. Where a deposit is required, it is paid through our secure online payment system and deducted from the final invoice.

4. Electrical work or inspection

Your electrician attends on the agreed date, explains the work and carries out the inspection, testing or installation safely and professionally.

5. Results, certification and payment

We explain the findings, provide the appropriate certificate or report and confirm any recommended remedial work. We accept cash, debit and credit cards, bank transfers and secure online payments.

What happens during an EICR?

An Electrical Installation Condition Report assesses the condition and safety of the fixed electrical installation. Testing may require circuits, or the main supply, to be switched off temporarily. The installation is assessed against the current requirements of BS 7671.

The report records the outcome as satisfactory or unsatisfactory. If defects are found, we explain the observations and provide a separate quotation for any remedial work required. Remedial work is not included in the inspection price unless stated in writing.

Our EICR report guarantee

If we identify an administrative error in an EICR we have issued, we will correct and reissue the report at no extra cost. The report records the condition of the installation at the time of inspection.
