How it works

We find the fault in over 85% of visits within the first hour. Some faults are intermittent or hidden inside walls, floors or ceilings, so this cannot be guaranteed every time.
Small repairs are often completed within the same hour.
If further work is needed, we explain what we found and agree the price with you before any extra work starts.

Proper testing, not guesswork

We use professional Megger test equipment to trace the fault, so we fix the cause rather than just resetting the trip switch.

Fault-finding terms

The fixed visit price (£90 outside, £120 inside the Congestion Charge zone) covers attendance and up to one hour on site, including fault finding and small repairs completed in that time.
Time after the first hour is charged at £80 per hour, or at a fixed price agreed with you in advance. No further work starts without your agreement.
Parts and materials are quoted and agreed before fitting.
Evening, weekend and bank holiday visits are charged at the rate confirmed on the phone before we attend.
Payment is due on completion of the visit.
All prices are all-inclusive, with nothing added on the day.

Do not touch exposed wiring or equipment that is hot, smoking or wet. If there is fire or immediate danger, leave the property and call the emergency services first.
